knit-a-thon gallery

My on-going goal is to knit one project per month, to decrease my stash of acrylic yarns and increase my knitting skill. I don’t have an extensive stash, but I want to move out of the Jo-Ann’s variety yarns into wool, alpaca, and merino. I’ve had my first taste of malabrigo yarn when I found a neat little yarn shop called Busy Hands* in Ann Arbor. The yarn was wonderful, and I pledged never to go back. One can wish!

I’m calling this race to finish my stash yarn my “knit-a-thon”. Below you can see a gallery of what I have finished so far, and you can also click on the images if you are interested in reading in back story. Check back soon for more progress!

*If you are planning on visiting Ann Arbor for the Art Fair this year, check out Busy Hands—it will be worth your trip!
